Brief History

St. Francis Xavier Kakore Nursery/Primary School is located in Kakore Parish Hamurwa County, Rubanda District. It is 11kms away from Kabale town along Kisoro road. Behind Kakore Health Centre III Primary School is a private mixed Day and Boarding registered with the Ministry of Education and Sports.

It is a catholic founded school by Daughters of our lady of Fatima -Kabale the aim is to evangelize through education which helps the community to educate their young children and have strong faith in the catholic church and state. Our school is a day and boarding, so children and their parents can choice what’s the better option for them. We have comfortable bedrooms, we have a great team of matrons who take concerned about the children and help them on their daily tasks. Our classrooms are big enough for giving space to all our children. In order to study as much comfortable as possible. Besides, we have a Library where the children can study and read the books available.

We have response Administrators and the staff which are equip with knowledge and material to give to the children Our library provides them specific and relevant materials for their daily studies. Playground and sports: children need to practice sports and they love playing. Therefore, we have enough space for them: for Pre-primary School we have a playground where the

children play and enjoy together. Also, we have a football field outside where our children play daily.

The goal of St. Francis Xavier Nursery and Primary School is to provide a holistic education, or producing people who are intellectually strong, physically healthy, socially balanced, and God-fearing. By emphasizing academics and extracurricular activities, this is achieved. I have to admit that I am honored to be affiliated with St. Francis Xavier Nursery and Primary School-Kakore whose mission is “evangelize through education to serve the church, country, and world.

“ We try our hardest to make our dream a reality and not only talk about it; we actually put our mission into action as school and Daughters of Our Lady of Fatima fraternity.In my capacity as directress, I must state that, despite our ardent interest in academics, we have also committed ourselves to learning activities outside of the classroom and, of course. The school has a teacher in charge of overseeing all extracurricular activities, a games master, club patrons, and patrons of various religious movements.

At the pupils’ level, there are prefects in charge of sports and additional activities as well as pupil in charge of various clubs and religious movements. With this leadership structure, St. Francis Xavier has excelled in academic.

The community’s spiritual well-being is an additional factor we take into account. The success and development of St. Francis Xavier nursery and primary school is based on this conviction. “The fear of the LORD—that is wisdom, and to avoid evil is understanding.” Job 28.28. We consider it a blessing to have a school chaplain in our school, who help us in spiritual part of our life.
